The snow is melting from the April storm series and summer is nearly here in the high-country. June Lake offers some of the best lake view homes in the area, while Mammoth offers excellent meadow location homes on Mammoth Creek and also some modern luxury fairway frontage homes.

What’s going on around town? Our year round streams are running and all summer activities are in full swing. The back-country still has snowpack which is just beginning to melt off now. It is a great time of year to be here as the days are long, the meadows are blooming and the black bears are waking up from their winter rest. The road to the Lakes Basin has opened last week giving access to all of the lakes and hiking in the area. Sierra Star and Snowcreek golf courses are starting up with some great deals for early season golf this year! Fishing is in full swing in the lakes and rivers in the area after the snowy fishing opener last week. Motocross, road biking and mountain biking events are here all summer. Camping and hiking is accessible now through most of the area. Tioga Pass will open to Yosemite after this weekend and the Mobil Mart has opened its restaurant as well. It is a beautiful time of year bringing a fresh and renewed feeling to the area as people make their summer adventure plans.
